The Deputy Governor of Lagos, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, on Wednesday, joined Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu at the 19th Executive and Legislative Parley in Lagos.
The annual parley, which brings together members of the executive and legislative arms, focused on enhancing coordination to improve governance outcomes across the state.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Hamzat highlighted the importance of alignment between policymakers and implementers, noting that effective collaboration is critical to delivering tangible results for residents.
This year’s edition of the parley focused on equal participation and the role of synergy in advancing the THEMES+ Agenda of the Sanwo-Olu administration.
Dr. Hamzat said that when those responsible for making laws and those tasked with implementing them work in alignment, governance processes become more efficient and impactful.
The engagement forms part of ongoing efforts by the Lagos State Government to strengthen institutional cooperation and ensure that policies translate into measurable outcomes for the public.
